JAA TO's Foundation Board

The JAA TO Foundation Board is charged with the management of the organisation. Members of our Board are appointed by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) and its Coordinating Committee (CC) and are nominated from amongst the Director Generals of ECAC.

 

Mr. Alessio Quaranta

Chairman of the Foundation Board | ECAC Vice-President | Director General of ENAC Italy

Director General of the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), Mr. Quaranta also holds positions in main international organisations of the aviation field, such as EUROCONTROL, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Appointed as Member of the JAA TO Foundation Board in December 2013. 

Director General of the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), Mr. Quaranta also holds positions in main international organisations of the aviation field, such as EUROCONTROL, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Appointed as Member of the JAA TO Foundation Board in December 2013. 

Mr. Mario Nemeth

Foundation Board Member | Director General of Civil Aviation of Slovakia

Director General at the Ministry of Transport and Construction of Slovak Republic since 2014, Mr. Németh has a long career in aviation. He has previously occupied the following positions: Ground Operations Manager/Operational Director, Flight Dispatcher, Air Traffic Controller, Tax Auditor and Inspector in Bratislava. Appointed as Member of the JAA TO Foundation Board in December 2016.

Director General at the Ministry of Transport and Construction of Slovak Republic since 2014, Mr. Németh has a long career in aviation. Mr. Luís Miguel Ribeiro

Foundation Board Member | Chairman of ANAC Portugal

Mr. Luis Miguel Ribeiro is the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority since July 2015, the regulator for the Portuguese civil aviation sector. Mr. Ribeiro began his professional career in 1995 at the Ministry of Finance. He was a member of the Board of Metropolitano of Lisboa, a member of the Board of ANA - Airports of Portugal, SA, a member of the Board of ANAM - Airports and Air Navigation Madeira SA and Managing Director of Portway - Handling de Portugal, SA. Mr. Ribeiro was appointed to the JAA Training Organisation Foundation Board in 2019.
